Did you face any unusual happenings/learning during offshore working?
Here is one story I want to share,
One of our UK customers wanted us to develop their Innovative product having patented encryption algorithms
Our team of 6 successfully developed and delivered the product within record time
customer did the acceptance testing of the product and got involved into the product sale
Our team, working on the product, got dismantled
About 11 months later, customer came back saying they have a prospective customer, which is a reputed bank in UK
The bank, wanted to check what all information get encrypted and if it touches any of their sensitive data.
Being secure area, bank could not provide external access
Our customer approached us and asked if we could visit London for the validation and certification of the product at the Bank premises
It was a long time since we delivered the product and also we were involved into some other activities, However, noticed the urgency at our customer’s end
I personally visited our customer, Passed all the tests the bank wanted us to perform and got certification from the bank for the product
In the end, customer was very happy for our quick actions.
